West Essex Committee is sad to announce that after 7 years on our committee, 3 of which were as Chair Sharon has made the hard decision to resign in order to “enjoy life.” At a committee meeting at the weekend Lee Spooner was elected as the new Chairman for West Essex D.A.
Sharon’s departure from the Committee means there are now two spaces available if anyone would like to join the committee and have a more active role in organising West Essex Meets and the behind the scenes running of the D.A.
The Committee would like to thank Sharon for all the hard work and dedication she has shown the D.A while she has been on the committee and for the fantastic leadership she gave to her fellow committee members.
We look forward to seeing Sharon out on the field as a friend and fellow camper as, in her own words she “isn’t resigning from the DA, just the committee!”
