Unfortunately this meet has been cancelled by the Trustees of the Museum of Power as they are in discussions with the local authority regarding camping on the field. We hope that this gets resolved quickly and we are able to camp in the future.
What's on: Housed in a former Water Pumping Station, the Museum contains a fascinating collection of working overhead machine shop, a petrol power iron and the jewel in the crown is the "lilleshall" triple expansion steam pump, now back in steam after 50 years. There is also a Model village, miniature railway and tea room, see their website for more information: https://www.museumofpower.org.uk/
Directions: From Hatfield Peverel take B1019 towards Langford Museum of Power will be on the right in approx 3.5 miles.
