Just under a week to go now before the WEDA Fireworks Meet at Abbess Hall Farm, Abbess Roding over 3-5 November. For anyone who has not been there before it is a lovely large and well drained field. There is a village store in nearby Leaden Roding and great pub food at the Black Horse in White Roding.
All units attending are asked to please bring one large firework to contribute to the display
A warming mug of soup will be supplied to keep the cold at bay while watching the display, followed by a filled baked potato supper in the marquee once the firework display is at an end – all for the bargain price of just £2 per person.
The new DA space heater was tested at the early Halloween meet and worked well so the marquee should be much warmer than last year when the old heater gave up the ghost halfway through the evening!
Look forward to seeing you there for the penultimate meet of the season.
